Being Self Employed

Being self employed is for many people, a dream come true, with benefits such as setting your own hours, ideally being rewarded for the extra hard work that you do, and perhaps not having to commute to an office each day, to name just a few.

Another good advantage of being self-employed is one of the best tax strategies out there. Tax strategies for the self-employed are plentiful.

A poll taken asking whether or not to be self employed was desirable to people resulted in these findings. 82% voted for self employment while only 18% voted not to be self employed. That’s a pretty eye opening poll.

Working for oneself from home, in front of the computer on weekdays and weekends is becoming ever more popular thanks to the internet and the World Wide Web.  Working for yourself can be both financially and spiritually satisfying.

Starting a business is not for everyone. Actually starting a business is as scary as it can be fun.  Starting a business where you are self-employed is not a direction for everyone, but it can be very rewarding for those that stick to it and learn to run their self-employment job as a business.

It’s a good idea not to go to bed every night until you have done something to advance your home based business.  Don’t just quit and close up shop. Being self employed is the best lifestyle I know.  Don’t let the initial learning curve get you down.

Lots of people have a tough time succeeding with their home-based business and the biggest reason is they don’t know how to market their business. Marketing your business on the internet is probably the best way to get out there and for the most part it’s free.

Blogging, I believe is a good way to get an audience and from there you should start to deviate and try to make money by starting a blog related to your business.

Someone who has what it takes to become self employed will look for ways to build their business through the internet as well as word of mouth. Internet marketing is probably the least expensive way to let people know about your products.

It’s a good idea to start an online business and a blog while you are still working. It’s important to be able to pick yourself up and keep going when it seems like you are going nowhere. It’s unlikely you’ll make a success of your work if you’re not enthusiastic about it so enjoying what you do is a priority.

Being self employed is a dream that many share. More and more people are taking the advantage of working from home. Women who want to be stay at home moms are starting to be self employed with a home based business.

Men are looking for ways to spend more time with their families are taking charge of their future’s by starting their own home business. People who have disabilities and can’t work outside of home now have the opportunity to work from home and make more money that the state gives them in disability payments.

Personally, I have Parkinson’s Disease and I am a boat welder. I know my welding time is limited so my Wife and I have started our own home business. When the day comes when I’m no longer able to work as a welder I can still work at home. We are working at home not only because of the Parkinson’s but because we want to retire on our terms.

I want to encourage you to at least check out one of the websites and get more information about a home business. Leave your job on your terms not the terms of your boss. YOU CAN DO THIS AND YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL! Now the ball is in your court. Work for a boss or be your own boss. What will you choose?

Starting your own small business is a great achievement for anyone and I would personally recommend it.It teaches you a lot about yourself, strengths and weaknesses, I would recommend that everyone listens, reads or get involved in a personal development program.Without it, you may just discover that the biggest obstacle your going to face is yourself.

Did you know that most people give up trying to succeed in their business, just at the point when they are going to be successful.Don’t be one of those people persist follow your dreams and make it happen!

Starting a home based business is not for the faint hearted. To become successful, takes commitment and hard work, but the rewards are great. Kudos to you for your forethought and planning to manage your life as your illness progresses.

Besides blogging, there are still many ways online to make money like affiliate programs, PPC ads etc.

Great post! I have been learning how to weld in my garage! I have a TIG welder… never taken a lesson.I just jumped right in. Its been alot of fun. I was a plumber. I to am looking for that financial freedom, knowing that my body would not be able to perform the physical work required forever. I have taken the plunge. Thanks for the encouragement.
